Join the Beat Roots, Deep Roots Project and West Cook Wild Ones for Pollinator-palooza on Saturday, July 25, 3-5pm.
The pollinator-palooza will feature an informative puppet show, pollinator crafts, a native garden tour and more! All ages and generations welcome!
Whether you have a green thumb or are just curious to learn, BEAT Roots is a welcoming space to grow friendships, nurture our gardens, and celebrate the joy of working together. Each week, participants help plant, weed, and water our vegetable and native garden beds while learning about gardening, nature, and sustainability. Beyond the garden, we also enjoy creative art projects, share stories and experiences, and build meaningful connections across generations. BEAT Roots is a collaboration with the Brooks Earth Action Team (BEAT) and the Oak Park & River Forest Township.
